Daily Play !
» Daily Play is another game from the UK National Lottery
Daily Play is another game from the UK National Lottery and another way of winning prizes but on an everyday basis. The UK Lottery already have a number of games, they run Euro-Millions, Lotto, Thunderball, Hot Picks and Dream Number as well as a number of scratch cards and instant win online games.

Daily Play is different to these games in that it has a smaller prize fund generally but is drawn Monday through to Saturday. No draws are made on a Sunday or on Christmas Day. The draws aren’t televised like the other games but results can be found online on the official lottery website and cal also be watched live on the BBC website.

» How to Play

The cost of entry into Daily Play is £1 in the UK and the player can buy tickets 6 days in advance and for every day of the week. The player chooses 7 numbers from 1-27 from the board. You need to match at least 4 numbers in order to win a prize and match 7 in order to win the top prize. You can also use Lucky Dip for your entry. You can play online or at a kiosk.

» Prizes

The prizes for Daily Play vary from a free entry for another Daily Play game to £5 to the top prize of £30,000. There is a 1 in 8 chance of winning a prize. Match all 7 numbers and win the jackpot of £30,000. Match 6 numbers and win £300, match 5 and win £30 and finally match 4 and win £5. If you don’t match any numbers, you will get the chance to win a £1 Daily Play lucky dip ticket – essentially a free entry into another game.

All of the smaller prizes up to £30 can be collected at a kiosk and larger vendors, such as the Post Office may allow you to collect £300. Otherwise you will need to claim from the National Lottery and the jackpot will need to be collected in person. You can call the Lottery directly if you win the jackpot or send your winning ticket to them to claim the £300 prize – if you have bought your ticket online the prize will automatically be added to your account.

The advantage of playing Daily Play is that you can get a weekly fix even when the main draws aren’t on. There is also a much greater chance of taking home a prize with this game, not to mention the chance of a free entry even if you match nothing.

Don’t forget that you can’t watch this game on television and it can be easy to get confused with there being a draw everyday. Playing online is a great way to keep tabs on your tickets and the system will also check your tickets for you, meaning you won’t get confused. Daily play is a great way to have a test of your luck during the week!
